Beauty of Our Dreams

The Beauty of Our Dreams

The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. -E. Roosevelt

There are times when I need a little inspiration, a little lift from the everyday grind … like the mornings when the mush left in the drain makes me miss a US sink with a garbage disposal … or the times when I feel overwhelmed by the ever-growing laundry mound … or the nights when it feels like I’ve gotten nothing productive done that day. Well, all of that makes up to be about every day of the week. And because of that, I’m starting a new initiative here on my blog.

On Mondays and Fridays, I’ll post a short thought or two for inspiration, along with a photograph that I love. I figure, if I need the inspiration, there’s a good chance that some of you might need it, too. And since I have an overflowing bin of photographs that I love, ones that I turn to for a lift and for a shot of inspiration, I’d like to share them with you, too.

What do you think? Any suggestions? Any requests or favorites or ideas for short posts you’d like to see? Since I love to hear from you, too (this isn’t meant to be a one-way conversation) leave a comment or send an email with your thoughts or ideas. I’d love it.

Thanks for joining me on the journey– on the adventure of finding the beauty and adventure in everyday life. -JK

This is the first time I’ve stopped by your blog, and it looks wonderful! I look forward to keeping up with your journey.
